Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat hotel has an enviable reputation for dining. The hotel's impressive array of restaurants offers guests a variety of international cuisines from all over the world, guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding tastes.
Guests can enjoy the classic luxury of the Al Marjan Restaurant, with its impeccable service and unique ambience, which serves first-class modern European cuisine; regional Cantonese and Szechwan cuisine at China Mood; the extensive international buffet theme nights and Italian ą la carte menu at the Al Khiran Terrace; and the open-air Beach Pavilion beachside restaurant.
In addition to the four main restaurants, the hotel also features the Atrium Tea Lounge for afternoon tea and refreshments; the Al Maha Piano Bar for drinks and entertainment; the Pool Bar for light poolside snacks and juices; and Seblat Al Bustan, our authentic Omani night-time Bedouin tented dining experience. Guests who prefer to dine in the privacy of their own rooms can take advantage of our 24-hour in-room dining service.
In July 2006, we sent an email to you announcing the closure of the Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat from 5th January 2007 for an extensive renovation project in 2007. The dates have now been finalized and we are pleased to advise of the following important information:
a. The hotel will close on 9th January 2007, which means that the last departure date is on 9th January 2007 at noon. A number of our guests are staying throughout the New Year period and leaving on 3rd or 4th January 2007 and a few guests are staying until 9th January 2007.
b. The hotel's operation and facilities will remain unchanged, except for the following Food and Beverage changes from 5th - 9th January 2007, both dates inclusive:
- Al Khiran Restaurant: Buffet Breakfast - Lunch and Dinner on Ą La Carte (no theme buffet dinners)
- Al Marjan Restaurant and China Mood Restaurant will be CLOSED
- Beach Pavilion Restaurant - normal operation
- Al Maha bar - normal operation
We would greatly appreciate if you could inform the few guests who are booked to stay from 5th till 9th January 2007 with final departure of all guests on 9th January 2007 so that any confusion and misunderstanding are avoided accordingly.
